Things I’m involved in at Houghton:
RA, College Choir, theatre, Welcome Desk
Houghton in five words or less:
Home away from home
Myself in five words or less:
Animated, optimistic, energetic, driven
More about me:
I love meeting new people and get really excited when I have the opportunity to meet strangers! I absolutely LOVE the outdoors, camping, hiking, mountain biking, just bushwacking! Movies are also a serious passion of mine…they've become my favorite form of art and I'm always willing to watch something new. It can be foreign, domestic, ten years old or 80 years old! Doesn't matter! I am a HUGE family man and want nothing more than to build a family with a woman of God and share in raising children with her. She's out there, and I'll meet her in God's time! God is the one and only driving force in my life…He guides my every move! Please, feel free to introduce yourself…I'd love to get to know you!
What I hope to be doing someday:
I have a strong passion for working with lots of people. I'm currently on a pre-med track to become a Physician's Assistant so that I may serve God through medicine. I love to make people laugh, because a day without laughter is a day wasted!

On my way... =)

Hello folks! So, here I am, typing out what will be my final blog post at Houghton College. This is it! I just got back to my room from having taken my final final! haha Yes Ladies and Gentlemen, I just completed the last exam of my undergrad career here at Houghton and it is bittersweet, let me tell you. I have been looking back at this semester with tears in my eyes about the Musical I did, the College Choir Tour that I went on, the trip home for a concert, my backpacking expedition into Scotland with my brother, and of course, Baccalaureate and Senior Spot just around the corner. …

Our trail towards the top...

Hello everyone! So, as that time draws near for me to say goodbye and graduate, I’ve been looking back at the many blessings that Our Father has bestowed upon us. One such blessing showed up within the last week actually, and came in the form of a backpacking trip into the Scottish Highlands with my younger brother. Jimmy, as he’s known in the family, wrapped up his last week in the London Honors Program and I was blessed with enough money and time to take him North into Scotland for a little one-on-one time!

We began with a three day tour of Stirling, seeing is castle, the Church of the Holyrude, …

The Robinson Family!

A common theme amongst a number of my posts this year has been my future. As a senior, I’ve been doing soooo much thinking about my future job(s), relationships, friends, homes, and adventures. 4 years ago I never would have imagined myself doing the things I’m involved in now, what with College Choir, Medical School on the horizon and visiting my younger brother in Scotland for a week. God has been SO good to me these last few years that I can’t help but praise and thank him with everything that I say and do.

One very kind and charming reminder of how positive my future can be is the film “Meet the …

Hello one and all! So my last post was about why (or more specifically HOW) I came to Houghton. Well, I was recently reminded of yet another reason why I have simply adored my time here. Two weeks ago, I had the incredible opportunity to tour the Eastern Coast of the United States with the Houghton …

Why did I come!?

GO HIGHLANDERS!!!

Hey everyone! So, as I get closer and closer to the day of my graduation I simply can’t help thinking of why it was that I came to Houghton in the first place. For those of you who’ve been following me these last two years, you may be able to piece together some of my story. But for those who are newcomers…here goes. So, when I began searching for colleges, I started with architecture schools, knowing my affinity for math and artwork. I ended up attending a large secular university in the fall of 2007. After a very rough semester personally and academically, I realized that it was NOT the place for me. …
